Rebar is a profile made of steel and used in construction that is produced with a circular and solid cross-sectional area. Of course, there are other types of rebar that have different materials and applications. These profiles are produced in different thicknesses and diameters, each of which has a specific application.
Types of rebar
In general, rebars are divided into two categories: ribbed and simple, and in the general category, they can be divided as follows:
- European rebar (carbon, manganese, silicone, alloy, etc.)
- Carbonized steel (“black” base rebar)
- Epoxy Coated
- Fiberglass Polymer & Stainless
- Galvanized
